Middle Ages Book List
c. 700's – 900's AD

When teaching medieval history for kids, be sure to include the stories of the Arabian Nights. Fun for all ages, they were originally written in the late 700's, and there are many modern editions to choose from!

The other topics in this booklist tend to be introduced in Junior High or High School — Charlemagne (the 700's), Alfred the Great (the 800's), & Ethelred (the 900's).
